Through everyday wear, jewellery can become scuffed and tarnished and stones lose their sparkle.
We will thoroughly clean and polish your silver, gold, platinum and palladium jewellery to brand new showroom condition, removing any scuffs, scratches and signs of wear.
After polishing, white gold jewellery is plated.
Many jewellers use cheaper alternatives to rhodium. At Aura we use the finest quality rhodium plating to give your jewellery the whitest, brightest, most durable finish.
Surface detailing & finishing
All gold is yellow when it is mined.
It is then alloyed or mixed with other metals to alter its colour and fineness. This colour is further enhanced by electroplating. Most coloured gold jewellery (non-yellow) has a surface plating. For example, rhodium is the surface plating applied to white gold.
At Aura, we can apply surface plating to any item in rose, white or yellow.
All of our jewellery repairs will be returned as standard with a high polish finish.
However we also offer a variety of finishes such as, satin, frosted, and hammered finishes.
